Probably, it is not by chance that she was born in a family of musicians, in which her father is a saxophonist, her mother is a pianist, and her grandmother is a well-deserved artist of Ukraine. Young parents, fond of jazz and grandmother, an aristocrat, who brings up her granddaughter in the spirit of a boarding house of noble maidens, grew up in Karina a combination of incongruous love for rebellious freedom, but with good manners, taste and eternal values. Both in music and in life - these features are clearly manifested and manifested in everything. Already since childhood, Karina sang in variety bands, visited jazz with her father and soloed in the choir of a music school, where she studied piano from the age of 5. And from the age of 14, as a student of the Lviv Music School for piano, Karina decided to become independent of her parents and worked in the VIA of one of the Lviv technical schools, as well as an accompanist at the Lviv Pantomime Theater "Mimograph", and a little later - the legendary Vocal Ensemble "Schasliv Ditinstvo" "under the leadership of Lesi Salistra. Then the future singer started singing solo, taking part in various city competitions, working as a fashion designer. Since 1992, Karina studied in absentia at the Rovno University of Culture and Arts at the conductor's faculty. At the same time, Karina is getting acquainted with the famous Lviv producer Alexander Yerchenko, the owner of the producer agency "Creator meager double two", who wrote her first album song and recorded the first soundtrack, and is also the author of most of her first album's songs. It is his Karina who considers her godfather creative father, who brought her to the Great Stage.

The first exit took place in January 1993 in the city of Lviv. The first body of the shooting - in the programs "Nekhay" and "Telefan" opened Karina for the Ukrainian viewer, who rated her as an erotic, feminine and extraordinary singer. Almost immediately after the first speeches she was invited to Vitebsk - to represent Ukraine at the international festival "Slavonic Bazaar - 93". At the same time, songs performed by Karina Play begin to sound in various programs and charts at the central radio stations of Ukraine. Already in 1994 the first author's song "My Boy" wins in the national Hit Parade "12-2" and becomes one of the twelve most popular songs of the country. In the same year, 1994, Karina won the All-Ukrainian competition "Pervotsvit" and became the owner of the Grand Prix. And then the first audio album of the singer named "Marevo" arrived, which was named the best Ukrainian video clip of 1996. 1995 was marked by a victory at the All-Ukrainian festival "Musical Drama", another victory in the national hit parade "12-2" and moving to a permanent place of residence in Kiev. In the same year the singer was invited to represent Ukraine at the international festival "Velvet Season" and also to the festival "Tavriyskie Igry", whose anthem, written later by the singer in co-authorship with Julian Zarembovsky, will be performed by the choir of Ukrainian stars. Later in 1996 - the second audio album "Vryatuy Mene", written by Karina herself and arranged by Nikolai Pavlov, was published. In this album, separate tracks are instrumental compositions saxophonist - the legend of Igor Rudoy, ​​with whom Karina at that time closely cooperated. Many songs of this album were repeatedly reprinted by various music companies in the collection of hits. They gave Karine the title of laureate at the international festival "Shlyager", "Khit Roku", "Parade of the Zirkots", and in 1997 brought her the song "Vryatuy Mene" all-Ukrainian festival "Pisenniy vernisazh".

At the same time Karina becomes the "face" of one of the most fashionable clubs in Kyiv "Flamingo" and presents a clip for the song "Marevo". begins its activity as a TV-host. The result of this collaboration was the release of the third album of the singer, "The Tales for Adults", in which Karina is not only the author but also the songwriter. Also, at that time, the audience saw the first fully computerized clip in the country for the humorous song "Indignant Dreams", awarded for the best directing. 1999 also turned out to be rich in events. One of them was the victory in the All-Ukrainian competition "Clip of the Year". And the victory of the song "The Old Man", recorded on the studio of Kim Breitburg in the Russian-Ukrainian project Dialog, diploma and honorary title "Citizen number one" of the national student project "Steundent". Also this year, Karina takes part in concert tours of Ukraine "Susyriya" and "Choose the Future", successfully presents Ukraine at concerts in Belarus, Russia and Cyprus. And from 1999 to 2000, they became active advertising co-operation with Torres (petroleum products). With the participation of this company, an audio album "Epecially for" appears, a solo New Year's concert in Cyprus and a clip for her song "The Old Man", a scenario of which Karina has created and pondered the whole year. As a result, the clip, which was filmed for 5 days and which Karina considers to be his most difficult video work, for several months does not descend from the highest stages of the country's charts. In the midst of a series of charity concerts, a video is released for the song "It Happens", in which Karina is a co-producer, and in 2001 Karina becomes the winner of the all-Ukrainian action "Leader of People's Dovi", is shot in a video for the social project against smoking on her author's song "Someday" and receives an honorary diploma of the all-Ukrainian festival "White Lake". Also, despite the tight schedule of appearances in the series of charity concerts, the singer accepts the invitation to become the chairman of the jury of the international contest "Song on BISS", as well as a member of the jury of the first "Black Sea Games" festival. 2002 is a year of tours, which are successfully held in Ukraine, Russia, Cyprus, Slovakia. Also Karina participates as an honored guest and jury member in various Ukrainian and international festivals, a video version of the author's song "This is not love" is being shot, which was rejected by the demanding artist and never got into a wide rotation, but became one of the most popular lyric audience hits in concert venues.

Always gravitating toward the ballad guitar sound Karina decides on a creative experiment. In 2002, Karina Play is radically changing the style of her songs. Romanticism gives way to fashionable energetic tendencies, and "watercolor" compositions - to rhythmic driving moods. At the same time, work is underway to create the album "Cherry Wind", in which Karina, in search of a new sound, begins to actively perform songs of other composers. The first swallow was a clip for the dance song "Dolgo-li". 2003 - tour of Western Ukraine, as well as concerts in Egypt in the framework of the international children's festival. In addition, the material for the album with the working title "Cherry Wind" is fully recorded, in support of which the clip of the same name comes out. In 2006, the audience saw a clip for the song "Take my soul" ... In 2007, Karina releases her next CD "Who can not be loved", where her best romantic hits are collected, and a year later she starts working as a TV presenter on the M2 musical channel. With the advent of the 2008 economic crisis, the singer takes a creative pause, is engaged in self-development, personal growth and writes her first collection of poems. In 2010 she was awarded a medal for active participation in the education of youth and propaganda of traffic rules. But already in 2011, having become bored of music, he gathers his band and rehearses a new program in the style of pop-rock, to which she always gravitated. In parallel, in cooperation with Iguana Studio, a video for the song "I Know" is released. At this time the singer often performs at charity events, for good deeds and endeavors, she was twice awarded with an honorary letter with a blessing from Metropolitan of the Kyiv and all Ukraine -  Volodymyr. In 2013, Karina, for family reasons, is forced to move urgently to Lviv to her parents, where she completely gives care to her family.

Except for the recording of the songs "Na Viyni" and the song "Pro Mir", which became her personal response to the unfolding events in the country, Karina almost completely stops playing music, does not attend creative events, and rarely participates in TV programs.

In 2015, almost three years later, in Lviv, the singer accidentally gets acquainted with the leader of the rock band Galaxy Slava Sinchuk, the legend of Ukrainian Rock, the singer who entered the top 10 rock vocalists of the World, the guitarist, the author, the arranger. The musicians coincided so timbrally and visually, and also surprisingly - their musical views and tastes completely coincided, that Slava almost immediately invited Karina to her "Galaxy", and also suggested creating a joint duet project. This proposal was a turning point in the singer's creative life. Karina again began to be included in the musical life, goes on stage. To date, the album "WALL" is ready, where the singer performs a melodic symphonic rock in a new, unusual for the listeners. And also the work on the album "Genial Maximum" is nearing its end - a light, dance disco-funk experiment by Karina and Slava Sinchuk as a music producer.
